DUBAI, May 10 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) cabinet on Thursday added nine individuals and entities to the list of terrorism supporters, the state news agency WAM reported.

"This decision comes within the UAE's keenness to target and disrupt the networks associated with the financing of terrorism and its associated activities," WAM quoted a cabinet statement as saying.

Individuals and entities were listed over their involvement in buying or transferring millions of U.S. dollars to the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), said the statement.

The individuals and entities are also suspected of funding destabilizing activities in the region, added the statement.

Iranian entities and individuals were included in the list as a result of close ties between the UAE and the United States, with the two countries included the same individuals and entities in their terror lists.

On Tuesday, the UAE endorsed U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement to pull out of the Iran nuclear agreement which was signed in 2015 by Iran and the six world powers, namely the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany.
