WINDHOEK, June 27 (Xinhua) -- Namibia seek to get their first win at the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals when they lock horns with neighbors South Africa on Friday.

Namibia's football coach Ricardo Mannetti said Thursday in a statement on the country's football association website that pressure is on South Africa and Namibia will do all they can to get their first win at the finals which are currently underway in Egypt.

"We come into the match with positives from the Morocco game and we need to compete and get the result we want. It is not about the next round but the first win for the country and then anything can happen," Mannetti said.

The coach added that the familiarity of the players will also weigh in the outcome of the match.

"This is our moment to enjoy and make memories and we grab this chance to play against the best on the continent. This is our World Cup," said Mannetti.

The match between Namibia and South Africa on Friday will be preceded by the clash between Morocco and Cote d'Ivoire.

Namibia is Group D, alongside Cote d'Ivoire, Morocco and South Africa.
