GWANGJU, South Korea, July 15 (Xinhua) -- China won two more diving titles at the 18th FINA World Championships here on Monday to take a clean sweep of all seven available diving golds.

Wang Han and Shi Tingmao claimed the country's sixth diving gold in the women's 3m synchronized springboard event, performing flawless dives in all five rounds even after struggling with injury.

"We not only had injuries but also fatigue and stress. We had to use our own time to recover," Wang said. "Every day, we trained very late. And then we went to the medical center. A lot of time was taken away. I had to sleep as much as possible to recover."

Melissa Citrini Beaulieu and Jennifer Abel of Canada took silver with 311.10 points, 30.90 behind the Chinese duo. Paola Espinosa Sanchez and Melany Hernandez Torres of Mexico took bronze with 294.90.

In the men's 10m synchro final, the last diving event of the day, Cao Yuan and Chen Aisen added another gold to China's medal table, winning handsomely with 486.93 points, 42.33 ahead of Russia's Viktor Minibaev and Aleksandr Bondar. Thomas Daley and Matthew Lee of Britain came away with bronze in 425.91.

Russia led the way in artistic swimming, winning its first mixed duet title since the category was introduced at the 2015 World Championships in Kazan.

Russia's Mayya Gurbanberdieva and Aleksandr Maltsev placed first with 92.0749 points in the mixed duet technical event, 1.2238 ahead of defending champions Manila Flamini and Giorgio Minisini of Italy who took silver.

Atsushi Abe and Yumi Adachi of Japan took the mixed duet bronze with 88.5113, winning the country's first medal in the event.

"I had silver in technical routine in Kazan 2015 and Budapest 2017. So, it was important to be victorious this time. We worked hard with my partner to achieve our goal," said Maltsev.

Ukraine snatched gold in the women's team highlight routine with 94.5000 points, bringing the first artistic swimming title to the country. Italy took silver, 2.7667 behind Ukraine, and Spain scooped bronze in 91.1333.

A highlight routine features 10 athletes and must include a minimum of four acrobatic movements, a connected or intertwined action, and a float that gives a kaleidoscopic effect.
