BEIJING, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- Domestic drama "Little Q" continued to lead the Chinese mainland box office on its second day of screening on Saturday, the China Movie Data Information Network said Sunday.

Starring Simon Yam Tat-wah, the film tells the story of a guide dog named "Little Q" and a middle-aged baker who lost his eyesight. It raked in 20.8 million yuan (around 2.93 million U.S. dollars) Saturday.

Domestic comedy "The Last Wish" surged to the second place despite having been on the screens for 9 days, with a daily box office of 16.6 million yuan, which took its total to over 207 million yuan.

Domestic fantasy film "Jade Dynasty" came in third, just about 200,000 yuan shy of the daily box office sales of "The Last Wish." The film had grossed 351.9 million yuan in the mainland box office as of Saturday.
